Qerebu @Buddhafield Festival

Buddhafield festival is a celebration of community and connection with the land. It is family-friendly, full of song, dance, arts and crafts, yoga, meditation, Buddhist teaching, workshops and ritual. The festival is without alcoholic drinks or recreational drugs

Our theme for 2023 is

LIBERATION THROUGH IMAGINATION

Just as the great ocean has one taste, the taste of salt, so also this teaching and discipline has one taste, the taste of freedom

Freedom can be frightening. We can withdraw into wintry cynicism and numb our hearts.

But just as the spring sun calls forth life from the frozen earth, imagination awakens and liberates us from the icy grip of rigid habits. In the warmth of this expanding creativity our indifference melts and our feelings are released, flowing outwards towards living beings. Exploring the archetypal realms of myth, symbol and art we unearth new possibilities of loving connection and shared purpose.

Can we widen our minds enough? Do we have the courage to dream a new world into being?
